About me
My journey into counselling began in my 20s when a neighbour talked about some difficult things in her life. Over many conversations, she opened up about her childhood and the way her experiences were continuing to impact her adult life. Seeing the connection between life experiences and the impact they can have on us sparked a desire to understand more.
I have been helping people pastorally for 25 years and recently completed a Master’s degree in counselling. These life and professional experiences have given me the backbone and competence I need to help you.
I recognise and respect that each of my clients is unique. I will listen to you with acceptance and compassion, taking time to understand your needs clearly. I believe that the relationship we build is at the heart of enabling you to progress towards better days.
I have lived in Fife for 12 years and been married for 25. I have three grown up children and two Australian Labradoodle dogs. I love sport, food, sunrises and the ridiculous pursuit of dipping in the North Sea!
I work individually and in person, with adults 18+.
I can also offer counselling from a Christian perspective, should that be something you would like.
